I'm glad you're here.
I'm Kimberly Kristin—an art educator, illustrator, and surface pattern designer currently living in the hills of Santiago, Chile. Originally from the U.S., I’ve spent over 20 years abroad, drawing inspiration from travel and cultural experiences. My work explores universal small moments through vibrant, playful designs. Whether I’m teaching or creating, I’m passionate about sparking creativity and building meaningful connections through art.

PORTFOLIO
Inspired by nature, travel, and everyday moments, my surface pattern designs blend playful motifs with thoughtful repetition. Each pattern is created to bring energy, warmth, and personality to textiles, stationery, and home goods. Whether bold and graphic or soft and organic, these designs are meant to add beauty and joy to the surfaces we live with every day.
These designs begin with simple shapes and evolve into bold, playful compositions. By focusing on form, color, and negative space, I explore how minimal elements can tell a vivid story. This collection highlights my love for graphic simplicity and visual rhythm, bringing everyday subjects to life in unexpected ways.
This collection celebrates the expressive power of line. From delicate contours to dynamic strokes, each piece is built around the rhythm, flow, and character that lines can convey. Whether continuous or broken, bold or whisper-thin, these illustrations capture movement, emotion, and form with intentional detail.
